I'm in the process of going through Karlyn Holman's new book "Watercolor Without Boundaries". The first few will be from the introduction pages.

Here's a painting done from the introduction of Karlyn Holman's book Watercolor Without Boundaries.

The exercise was to do a one color painting. I used Faber Castell's Sanquine watercolor pencil and ink. Done on Strathmore Watercolor 140# paper, 5 x 7 inches.

An interesting exercise.
